A: That sucker is a loooooong engine, I doubt you could fit it in the engine bay without cutting apart your firewall and having the bellhousing for the transmission by your knees.
The Stealth is a Mitsubishi and uses a Mitsubishi engine; the engine out of a Viper is an actual Dodge/Chrysler corp. engine. None of the parts really match up one way or the other. So in addition to the engine, you’d need the transmission (which is also really long). All told, you certainly could do it – you can do pretty much everything with enough money and hard work – but at the end of the day it wouldn’t be worth it when you could just slap a monster turbo and intercooler on it and add more HP than the Viper engine would give you anyways, for waaaay less work and money.
Q: How many more years from the looks of things do you think the corvette will be made also with the dodge viper?
A: Corvette will probably be around forever as it is an icon for GM. They are even making a Cadillac sports car based upon it.

A: My 96 Viper got new brakes at 50K, new brakes, belts, hoses, plug wires and plugs at 100K. Shocks at 125K rear tires out the [you know]. All normal wear items it has 175K on it now and has never caused a problem. I paid a lot of money for my dream ride and I take care of it. But one thing you must keep in mind. A Viper is a no frills pure muscle drivers car. If you want a luxo girlie ride buy a vette. Mopar gives me a different up grade part every year that keeps my car faster than any car in the world.

A: I do not own one but i drive one on a daily basis. Its one of the vehicles usually assigned to me along with the SRT models since i have been trained to handle vehicles that powerful. Like the 2nd answer says its typically a guy car though because it just reeks of testosterone. If you’ve ever had the chance to drive something that powerful you’d understand. Granted most of them are compensating for something…..but driving that car just makes you feel like a natural born badass. I would love to own one but the price tags a little too rich for my taste @ 80,000+ (I’d prefer to stick with the 4×4’s)

A: You can rent just about anything, a viper will cost anywhere from 500-1000 per day.

A: well, here is a good adjustment tip. jack up the radiator cap and slide in a new car. namely the Corvette Z06 
lol sorry. i am a die hard Corvette fan. Viper is a sweet looking and sounding car. just not practical. good luck man. there really is no adjustment for it. you will most likely have to go to the dealer or a body shop that has a good rep so you dont get screwed

A: Stay away from bikes with licensed names on them. GMC, Lamborghini, Dodge, etc bicycles are all made to capitalize on the name. They have NOTHING to do with the actual car or factory.
They are entry-level bikes for only occasional use on roads only.

A: the most people that i see own these cars are independent business owners or lawyers or doctors,anyone who makes over 100 k a year can own one,it doesn’t have to be a professional job as long as the money is good enough to pay the payments,and job security is good enough to secure a loan on one,good luck.
Q: Where are people getting the idea that Dodge will ever remove the Viper from production?
My idiotic Ford-loving friends have recently told me that Dodge will be removing my beloved Viper from production. I, however do not believe it’s true, and cannot find an internet source to confirm OR deny this. I’d like to know if this rumor is true.

A: If you are going to the track (drag strip or road course) its close enough to be a drivers race.
The ZR1 is more street friendly.
